Commencing January 2023

Applicants should:

  • be pursuing a PGCE or be a 4th year BEd student in 2023, who is at least 20 years of age
  • be pursuing or intend to pursue a career in teaching or in a school environment
  • be female students, prepared to live in single accommodation on campus, due to their responsibilities in the boarding houses
  • have a driver’s license (not essential but would be advantageous)

Applications are invited for the following post
SCHOOL SHOP MANAGER
Commencing 4 October 2022

The responsibility of the School Shop Manager is to coordinate the smooth running of the School Shop and to provide high quality customer service to parents, girls, and staff, ensuring the girls are able to obtain correct and appropriate school uniform at all times.

The successful applicant will report to the Treasurer and Chair of the St Anne’s Old Girls Guild and the St Anne’s Business Manager.

The Ideal candidate should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Admin/Finance and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Have excellent English communication, social and organisational skills.
  • Have bookkeeping experience and be comfortable with the use of the Pastel Accounting Package.
  • Be capable of working independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Be responsible for the entire operation of the shop including sales, stock ordering, stock taking, issuing of invoices and statements and cash reconciliation. 
  • Experience working within a school environment would be highly advantageous. 
  • Experience working with suppliers to effectively order stock, and negotiate rates and delivery times, as well as payment of suppliers. 
  • Demonstrated administration experience, with the ability to work effectively with excel spreadsheets and databases to maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrated experience relating to and engaging positively with people from a wide range of backgrounds. 
  • Identify with the mission of the College.
