DALE COLLEGE BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL
~ King William's Town, Eastern Cape ~
Dale College prides itself as a transformed and traditional boys’ school in King William’s Town, where it serves both the local community and learners from further afield in its boarding establishment. With growing sensitivity to the needs of the local community, it also draws from its rich 160 year old history. The College prides itself on a strong culture of learner involvement, enshrined in academic achievement and through the extra mural program. We are called to the holistic development of our learners, so as to impact the next generation of South African leaders.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, highly motivated and passionate History teachers. The appointment will be to an SGB-post.
The History post is to ideally be filled by a dynamic teacher with a passion to work in the school’s context, and with experience of teaching history at the FET level. A familiarity with the school’s context and ability to contribute to the Extra Mural program (particularly our mainstream sports of rugby, hockey and cricket) will count in the applicant’s favour.
The school and its SGB reserve the right not to make an appointment. An application does not necessarily entitle the applicant to an interview. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
